Israeli startup Airovation Technologies unveiled its new division, Airosphera, at the recent CES show. Airosphera offers AI-based technology for air purifier manufacturers to create smarter indoor filters. The algorithms use biosensing to monitor human parameters such as heart rate, breathing, and daily routine, and adjust the purifiers settings accordingly. The technology also focuses on monitoring carbon dioxide levels in the room, as high levels can impact cognitive performance and sleep quality. Airovations parent company, Airovation, has developed a technology that uses superoxide radicals to convert CO2 into oxygen and fertilizers. Airovation and Airosphera have raised a total of $19 million and are working with partners in South Korea and Japan. The first Airosphera-integrated products are expected to launch by the end of 2024.
