Israeli fintech startup Better has raised $2 million in seed funding from a group of investors including Sergio Fogel. The companys AI-based system leverages the open banking revolution to constantly scan its customers assets and liabilities, including savings, pensions, investments, tax payments, deposits, loans, mortgages, and insurance, and finds ways to save on fees and management fees to generate higher savings for the customer according to their needs, investment horizon, and risk. The company, which was founded in 2022, has gained about 3,000 customers within a year, most of them Israeli tech workers. The company employs 18 people at its development center near the Sarona complex in Tel Aviv and will use the raised capital to develop algorithms and additional modules to increase savings for the companys customers.
