Cycode acquires cybersecurity startup Bearer for $10 million | CTech
Cycode, a developer of Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) solutions, has announced the acquisition of US company Bearer. The integration of Bearer’s technology into Cycode’s ASPM platform is expected to enhance scanning speeds, precision, and offer a better developer experience for faster shipping. The cost of the acquisition was not disclosed but is estimated to be around $10 million. Cycode, backed by Insight Partners and YL Ventures, has raised $80 million to date and has several top global Fortune 100 customers.

Cycode raises $56 million Series B for software supply chain security solutions
Israeli cybersecurity company Cycode has raised $56 million in a Series B funding round led by Insight Partners. The funding comes just six months after Cycode raised $20 million in a Series A round. The company develops software supply chain security solutions and aims to secure DevOps pipelines and protect source code. Cycode has acquired customers such as Grubhub, Databricks, Copart, and Rapyd, and has seen a 7x increase in ARR in the first three quarters of 2021. The space is adaptable to accommodate future growth. Natural and sustainable materials were used in the project. The design team includes David Haziz and Roni Toledano.

Cycode raises $4.6M seed round to keep your source code safe
Israeli security company Cycode has raised $4.6 million in a seed funding round led by YL Ventures. The company aims to protect enterprises source code, which it believes is a gap in their security posture. Cycode connects to different services where the source code sits, provides visibility into access and usage, and monitors for anomalous behavior and code leaks. The funding will be used to expand the company to 20 employees and open a sales and marketing office in the U.S. Cycode is currently targeting large enterprise customers, but plans to expand to other markets in the future. The service is expected to be generally available in 2020.
