FlightOps, a multi-drone operating system provider, has used its software to deliver medical laboratory tests via drones. The operation was part of a project by the Israeli Innovation Authority and Ministry of Transport. FlightOps provides operating system for Walmart drones
Israeli startup FlightOps will provide operating systems for a fleet of drones that will deliver food and groceries from Walmart to American households. The project will begin before the end of the year and will involve 150-300 drones operating in Arizona, Florida, Arkansas, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. FlightOps, which has raised $1.5 million from its founders and a $1.3 million grant from the Israel Innovation Authority, is currently raising another financing round.
