Fornova has launched its next-generation Competitive Intelligence solution, FornovaCI, to help customers gain a competitive advantage in the post-COVID-19 recovery. The solution provides insights into competitor rates, online visibility, and guest reviews. FornovaCI includes a CI score to evaluate competitiveness, the ability to dynamically change geographic location for rate comparisons, and the tracking of third-party rates and device-specific promotions. The companys technology covers 72 points of sale and integrates with other intelligence tools. Fornova is a market leader in Big Data for the travel and hospitality industries.

Fornova lands $7M in funding, plots rollout of business intelligence tech for hotels
Hotel distribution and business intelligence specialist Fornova has secured $7 million in funding. The funding round was led by A/O PropTech, with participation from existing investors DTCP, JAL Ventures, and Forestay Capital. A/O and Fornova have also formed a design partnership, with Fornovas Hotels BI platform being integrated into A/Os portfolio of 150 hotels. The partnership aims to gain insight into the usage of business intelligence technology by hotels and explore further development opportunities. Fornova previously acquired Hotels BI in March. A/O has also recently invested in a £7 million seed round for rentals platform Residently.

Fornova buys hospitality intelligence platform HotelsBI
Fornova, a hotel distribution intel service, has acquired analytics provider HotelsBI. The acquisition will enhance Fornovas portfolio of distribution and analytics products for hotels worldwide. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Fornovas customer list includes Marriott, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Premier Inn, and Kerzner.

The Fornova Distribution Intelligence platform will monitor online channels for The Leela, including Online Travel Agents, Meta Search Engines, and their own brand.com. The platform will help The Leela hotels be more responsive to market shifts and optimize their distribution. The revenue and distribution teams at The Leelas luxury hotels in India are using the platform to get a consolidated view of how their inventory is being sold across multiple channels. The platform also helps identify partners that are not playing fair and saves revenue leakage. Fornova aims to enhance how The Leelas inventory is sold online and offline, leading to increased direct bookings and optimized cost of sales.
