SAFFRON TECH ENTERS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH NAVEH PHARMA TO CREATE PREMIUM SAFFRON-BASED COSMETICS AND SUPPLEMENTS
Sativus Tech Corps subsidiary, Saffron Tech, has signed a non-binding LOI with Naveh Pharma to create a joint venture. The joint venture aims to accelerate growth for both companies by supplying Naveh Pharmas saffron-based supplements. Saffron Tech will invest $1.5 million and hold 70% of the equity in the joint venture. Naveh Pharma will commit to purchasing at least 100 kg of saffron extract from Saffron Tech at over $2,000 per kg. The joint venture plans to develop and distribute a line of saffron-based food supplements globally in 2022 and launch a line of saffron-based cosmetics in the second half of 2022. The completion of the deal is subject to signing a definitive agreement by the end of March 2022.
