Optitask, an Israeli company, has developed unique laser transmitters that are used in a large portion of the Israeli Defense Forces armored and airborne tools. The companys laser transmitters are found in every range gauge of the IDFs tanks, from Mark 4 onwards. Optitasks CEO, Shmuel Weiner, stated that the companys laser transmitters are integrated into various systems, including sighting and similar systems. The company, which employs 25 people, is also developing long-range infrared observation with laser beam illumination. Optitask exports its products mainly to India, Poland, Singapore, and to a lesser extent, the United States.
