Ricor Cryogenic and Vacuum Systems produces innovative cooler technology for the space, military and defense, homeland security, semiconductor, commercial, and scientific equipment industries. Ricor develops, manufactures, and markets a wide range of advanced products and solutions, including cryocoolers for infrared systems, x-ray and gamma detectors, scientific instrumentation, vacuum cryo pumps, and wafer storage purge systems. In addition, the company offers semiconductor manufacturing equipment diagnostic tools, solutions for high-temperature superconductivity devices, and advanced acoustic noise and vibration control. Based on Stirling cryogenic cooler types, Ricors technologies offer tremendous flexibility, servicing cooling power needs ranging from a fraction of a watt up to 15W, temperatures from 7K to 150K, and input power consumption as low as 2.5W (for handheld equipment). Ricor is the parent company of Qnergy, a leader in thermal energy conversion.

Kibbutz Mishmar Ha'emek invests in cryogenics co Ricor

Mishmar HaEmek, a wealthy kibbutz in Israel, has made a NIS 90 million investment in buying the holding of private equity fund Tene in Ricor. Ricor, valued at NIS 350-400 million, is controlled by Kibbutz Ein Harod and specializes in cryogenic cooling solutions and vacuum systems. The investment is part of Mishmar HaEmeks strategy to invest its capital in buying shares of kibbutz companies. Mishmar HaEmek previously bought a quarter of irrigation products company Bermad. The acquisition of Tenes stake in Ricor is expected to contribute to the growth of the company.
