What does 8200 Impact do?

Founded by 8200 alumni in 2013, 8200 IMPACT is the first acceleration program in Israel for impact-tech startups, that aim to solve significant social or environmental problems through advanced technology, for the benefit of society and economy both locally and globally. This program was launched in order to harness the human capital of 8200 alumni for the benefit of society. The 8200 is a nonprofit organization and does not take equity nor claim ownership of the participating ventures intellectual property. The 8200 Impact accelerator is a five-month program of workshops with successful entrepreneurs, professionals, and prominent investors. The program offers access to more than 70 mentors, and each cycle of the program is composed of 10 to 12 entrepreneurs. A cycle concludes with a demo day event for entrepreneurs to pitch in front of prominent investors. The program is open to all Israeli citizens, not only 8200 alumni.
