Access is an Open Innovation Hub developed by Shapir Engineering focused on construction & infrastructure technologies. Access aims to develop technologies that will provide Shapir customers with the most cost-effective, sustainable and advanced construction & infrastructure solutions. Access invests in companies offering disruptive technologies. Leveraging its vast capabilities, it collaborates with such companies to accelerate the path from proof of concept to commercial success. The hub's focus areas are new materials with improved capabilities, recycled materials and industrial waste, efficient construction technologies, novel logistics solutions, automation of labor-intensive tasks based on robotics, AI, and sensors, smart structures using IOT and optimization algorithms, improved management and in-situ monitoring tools, and safety.
