Avichay Nissenbaum

Avichay Nissenbaum is Co-founder and General Partner at lool ventures, an early stage venture fund focused on Internet/Mobile/Media in Israel.Prior to lool ventures Avichay served as the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Yedda.com, (Acquired by AOL), and a vice president at AOL and AOL Israel Country manager.Prior to Yedda.com, Mr. Nissenbaum co-founded SmarTeam, a market leader in the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) domain. SmarTeam was subsequently acquired by Dassault Systems (NASDAQ: DASTY). Today,Avichay serves on several boards including Tipa Corp., Mabaya, Zooz, Medisafe, MyPermissions, EasySocialShop, Mabaya, Sensibo and several additional startup companies and advises various startups and entrepreneurs. Since 2013 he serves as a board member of Leaders of the Future, an Israeli non-profit organization whose mission is to develop the leadership skills and academic achievements of Ethiopian Israeli youth. The program emphasizes enhancement of self-image and motivation to obtain higher education and success in life.
