BG7 Ventures

BG7 Ventures was created by several leading players in the Israeli entrepreneurship landscape joining forces. The Negev, Beer Sheva as its capital, and the University at its apex are attracting talent that is under-served. The founders include Ben Gurion University, BGN Technologies and an experienced team of entrepreneurs. The fund offers investors access to a strong deal-flow and a network of top VC's; a team that has formed more than 100 start-ups with 30+ years of investment experience; unmatched seed-stage capabilities; BGU intellectual property; and, a region bursting with talent underserved by traditional players. The fund will invest in high-tech, biotech and social ventures by students and graduates of the university. It will incorporate training to help interested students to develop skills in identifying and investing in promising technologies. Graduates will then have the opportunity to join the funds investment committee, together with industry leaders and BGUs management, and become on-campus scouts for innovative technologies. The funds' investment areas of focus are cyber, IoT and big data, healthcare IT and aging, and urbanism, robotics and autonomous vehicles.

BG7 Ventures was founded in 2018 by Netta Cohen (CEO BGN Technologies), Adi Pundak-Mintz (Managing Partner).
