Biodesign Israel

Biodesign Israel is a healthtech innovation leadership training program for graduate and post-graduate students. Participants are divided into multi-disciplinary mastermind teams and are taken step by step through Stanfords Biodesign Innovation process, a methodology based on design thinking specific to the medical landscape. Thanks to its ecosystem and high clinical impact, Rambam Medical Center was chosen as Stanford Medicines exclusive official collaborator in Israel. Rambam houses and operates the Biodesign Israel pre-accelerator as part of the extensive ongoing strategic collaboration between the two institutions. This allows participants to immerse themselves in the clinical reality and gain access to Rambams databases and infrastructures, to create solutions that are truly need-driven and verified. Biodesign's vision is to provide an educational driven center that scales up the local health technology ecosystem using Stanfords Biodesign approach, to significantly improve treatment and patient well-being around the world.
