Camoni

<p>Camoni (Hebrew: "like me") is the first Israeli health and medical social network in Hebrew. The website serves as a virtual social meeting point for people with similar medical conditions, allowing them to consult with one another, to learn from one another, and to share their experiences with others.</p> <p>It includes various social tools such as blogs, group discussion, online chat, support groups, internal e-mail options, and more. In addition to social networking, Camoni provides the opportunity for patients to receive expert opinions with "a single click".</p> <p>Camoni offers the Hebrew speaking web-surfer access to leading Israeli medical experts in chronic diseases. All of the experts are well known and are members of leading hospitals and medical institutes throughout Israel.</p> <p>The disorders that Camoni targets include heart failure, diabetes, blood pressure disorders, kidney disorders, eating disorders and obesity, spinal cord injuries, and chronic pain.</p>

Camoni was founded in 2008 by Prof. Mordechai Shani (Founder).
