Climber O.D.E has invented the patent-pending Climber, a smart personal escalator designed to help people climb stairs without making major changes to their homes. It is especially suitable for seniors who wish to live at home and maintain their normal routine in spite of their in-home stairs. Consisting of a single moving platform, the Climber offers easy installation, operation, and maintenance. It requires no structural modifications or demolition and can be easily removed without leaving any marks. The Climber is safe, easy to use, and highly affordable, and comes with complete remote control and safety mechanisms. The product will be sold through resellers, installers, and DIY outlets and will be offered in standard sizes as well as made-to-order kits. Climber O.D.E has completed the standardization process and received the CE marking. The company has been awarded a grant from the Israeli Innovation Authority and was selected as a MassChallenge 2019 finalist.
