Eyal Waldman is a serial entrepreneur and active angel investor in several startups. He has served as the Co-founder, President, CEO, and Member of the Board of Mellanox Technologies from March 1999 until April 2020, when the company was acquired by NVIDIA for $7 Billion. From March 1999 to June 2013, he served as Chairman of the Board of Mellanox Technologies. From March 1993 to February 1999, Eyal served as Vice President of Engineering of Galileo Technology, a semiconductor company which he co-founded. The company went public in 1997, and was acquired by Marvell Technology Group in January 2001 $2.7 Billion. From August 1989 to March 1993, he held several design and architecture-related positions at Intel Corporation. Currently, he is a board member of Check Point Software Technologies as well as of Pliops. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. In June 2016, He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Technion.
