Gil Shai

Gil Shai is a serial business entrepreneur and angel investor, investing in early-stage deals. He currently serves as Head of Business Development at Amazon Web Services (AWS), after in January 2019 it has acquired CloudEndure, which he has co-founded (and served as its CRO). CloudEndure has developed a Cloud Migration and Disaster Recovery Technology, for any application, enabling companies to mobilize entire applications with their data to and across clouds with near-zero downtime and no data loss. Prior to this position, he has served as a mentor & lecturer at StartHub, a unique training program at The Academic College of Tel Aviv Yaffo (MTA) for the development of practical business entrepreneurship. Prior to his position at StartHub, he has served as a Co-founder and COO of AcceloWeb, which used optimization techniques to make web browsing faster. In May 2011, the company was acquired by Limelight Networks. Following the acquisition, he has served as VP of Operations at Limelight Networks. Before that, he managed the merger ofApproxiMATCH into Amdocs, where he continued to manage the resulting Amdocs business unit. Earlier in his career, he has held several positions in software development, and as a software team leader, in various tech companies.
