Idan Plotnik

Idan Plotnik is a serial business entrepreneur and angel investor, investing in early-stage deals. He has a passion for business, technology, and innovation around DevSecOps, App & Cloud Security He is currently serving as the Co-founder & CEO of Apiiro, which developed a code security platform, designed to automate visibility, compliance assurance, and risk remediation across applications and infrastructure before production. In addition, he is an LP at Cyberstarts - The Cybersecurity Founders Powered VC, and an Official Member at Forbes Technology Council. Prior to this position, he has founded Aorato, which developed a Network Security Solutions for MS Active Directory. The company was acquired by Microsoft for $200m in 2014. Following the acquisition, he was appointed as a Director of Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics (ATA) and Azure Advanced Threat Protection (Azure ATP). He served in this position until 2017. Prior to founding Aorato, Idan was the co-founder and CEO at Foreity an MS security subcontractor acquired by Aman Group in 2012. Earlier his in career, he was the founder and CTO of MSecurity, which provided security consulting and development services. Idan also holds the MicrosoftMost Valuable Professional (MVP) award for enterprise security.
