Benhaim co-founded Veepee (formerly Vente-Privée), a European e-commerce platform launched just before he completed business school in France. Over 20 years, Veepee expanded to one of Europe’s top unicorns, with more than €3.7 billion in revenue and 6,000 employees across 14 countries. He remains on Veepee's board and, since 2019, has dedicated his time fully to angel investing. Through his investment firm, IB Participations S.A. (IBP), Benhaim manages a portfolio of over 25 startups worldwide. He also founded IBP Africa in Casablanca to support Africa’s startup ecosystem and has invested in six Moroccan companies, including Pip Pip Yalah, Nadari, and Cuimer. His approach to angel investing involves providing both financial support and strategic guidance to founders, emphasizing collaboration to help companies grow. Benhaim serves as president of the NEOMA Business School Alumni Association, affiliated with one of the top French business schools. Additionally, he is the President and co-founder of M-Founders, a collective of Moroccan diaspora business angels focused on supporting Moroccan companies with growth potential.
