Mapals agricultural department was established to respond to the growing interest in soilless culture systems. It has since developed and expanded its professional soilless cultivation systems to include solutions for herbs, cut flowers, vegetables, and strawberries. The company strives to offer systems that increase the yield and quality of crops while also effectively collecting and recycling drainage water. Mapals products are specially treated to be UV-resistant as well as resistant to chemicals and acids. Its troughs are suitable for substrates such as volcanic soil, coco coir, perlite, rock wool, and peat. The easy-to-assemble troughs are available in a range of sizes and thicknesses to suit any drainage system and to best serve the growers needs. PolyCraft sheets, developed by Mapal, are made of specialized polypropylene and are designed for printed signage and point-of-sale materials. These sheets are lightweight, durable, and scratch-resistant, with high resistance to heat, chemicals, and UV light. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor advertising, they offer an alternative to traditional PVC sheets, especially given their UV resistance and color durability.
