Marubeni Ventures is the corporate venture capital fund of Marubeni Corporation, a major Japanese integrated trading, and investment conglomerate that handles products and provides services in a broad range of sectors. Marubeni Ventures is a 100% subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation. Marubeni Ventures' mission is to develop new business through partnership with its portfolio companies; to capture innovation and trends that would materially affect Marubenis current business; and, to take in entrepreneurial spirit and energize corporate culture through access to startup eco-system. As a strategic partner of its portfolio companies, Marubeni Ventures will add the following: Global Network (support marketing & distribution through its various channels and client; help companies expand business leveraging its relationship with market player); Expertise in various industries (Share its business knowledge or operating know-how accumulated in Marubeni Group through conducting various business across the world; and, facilitate discussion with business units within Marubeni for potential partnership, PoCs, and other business discussions); Management Expertise (providing management advice based on its experiences of worldwide business in various industries).
