Medstrada Ventures is a venture capital fund, focusing on food tech and nutrition technologies. The vision of Medstrada is healthy food, healthy living & healthy planet. Medstrada pursues investment opportunities in four areas. The first is novel food that is free of harmful elements, food with a specific positive effect (functional food) that does not require a medical prescription, and food with new flavors - plant and animal protein that are grown in a laboratory without harming animals. The second area of focus is personalized nutrition - understanding human nutrition and creating the right solution for each individual. This includes Microbiome, genetics, dietary habits, diagnostic, tracking devices and innovative sensors solutions. The third area of focus is food data & analytics, leveraging artificial intelligence, data-driven analytics platforms to support the food industry eco-system. This also includes IOT, machine learning, and blockchain technology solutions. The fourth area of focus is healthy planet, meaning purposeful usage of technologies to protect long-term planet resources. This includes food safety, food security, biodegradable packaging, waste management, and 'green' chemistry solutions, all with a circular economy business model.

Medstrada Ventures was founded in 2017 by Ruti Alon (Founder & CEO), Ilanit Kabessa-Cohen (Co-founder (No longer with the company)).
