Oren Ohayon Harel

Oren Ohayon Harel is a business entrepreneur and angel investor, investing in early-stage deals. He currently serves as the Co-founder & CEO of PlainID, which offers a comprehensive policy-based access control platform. Oren brings substantial knowledge and experience in cyber security, with a special focus on user identity management, standards and regulations, technology implementation, and cross-organizational project development and deployment. Prior to his role at PlainID, he has served as a Deputy CISO at Bank Hapoalim, one of Israels largest banks, in which he has managed large-scale projects and teams in the Cyber Security field. Earlier in his career, he has served in a Security Consulting position at Taldor, one of Israel's leading IT companies. Before this position, he has served as a Mainframe Security Expert at Bezeq, in which he was responsible for system security and maintenece. During his army service at the IDF, he has served as a Technology Specialist at a Military Intelligence Unit of the IDF. Mr. Ohayon-Harel holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ariel University.
