Ormat New Ventures is the Venture Capital arm of Ormat Technologies (NYSE: ORA). Ormat New Ventures empowers climate-tech founders by transforming bold ideas into scalable businesses. By leveraging Ormat’s expertise and resources, we foster innovation and collaboration, accelerating the development of technologies that drive a resilient, low-carbon future. We invest in energy and climate-tech hardware technologies, that can enhance and expand Ormat’s project pipeline or create new business opportunities, with a focus on novel geothermal solutions, next-generation renewables, long-duration energy storage, heat pumps and engines, nuclear, and other clean energy innovations. Beyond investment, we also engage in pilots, licensing agreements, and strategic partnerships with startups to validate and commercialize emerging technologies.

Ormat New Ventures was founded in 2023 by Anton Fiterman (VP R&D and Venture Investments).

Ormat New Ventures is based in Shidlovski St 1, Yavne, Israel. The company also has offices abroad.
