What does SouthUp do?

SouthUp, located in Sha'ar Hanegev, is working to boost social and economic conditions and provide innovative educational opportunities in the Gaza envelope. Its goal is to grow Israeli start-up companies into established high-tech firms operating in the region. SouthUp has joined forces with Hamashtela, an assistance fund for the support of kibbutzim, for their acceleration program in which developers receive individual guidance from professionals, from the initial concept, throughout all stages of development, to proven sustainability in the market. The program also includes workshops, lectures, and meetings with mentors for future business guidance; practical experience in the field; and pilot projects for the target population. SouthUp also offers a co-working space in kibbutz Nir-Am for entrepreneurs and companies.
