Spring Ventures

Spring Ventures is a deep tech investment firm traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and led by Israeli internet entrepreneur Aviv Refuah. Spring Ventures partners with visionary founders for the long-term while providing them with the capital, connections and experience required to build a successful company. It is focused on Seed and Series A stages and it is quite selective in its investments, preferring to partner more deeply with a smaller number of companies. Spring Ventures has a strong preference for products and technologies that are considered to be a breakthrough that can radically change landscapes. The firm believe SaaS industry will continue to rapidly grow. Its main focus is on business to business SaaS based models. Its main preference is to partner with founders at first steps. At minimum, the firm wants to see an outstanding team, a product and growing traction or revenue. In 2016, Spring Ventures sold its eCommerce division to the Azrieli Group for $22.7 million (NIS 80 million). In November 2017, Spring Ventures purchased a 19% stake in Wellborn Ventures for $2.1 million. Spring Ventures is the parent company of Journey Ventures, a multi-stage VC dedicated to Travel Tech industry, and of Wellborn Ventures.

Spring Ventures was founded in 1999 by Aviv Refuah (CEO).

Spring Ventures is based in Yigal Alon Street 94, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. The company also has offices abroad.
