TRUMPF Venture is the corporate venture capital unit of TRUMPF, which offers production solutions in the machine tool, laser and electronics sectors. It is both a strategic partner and a venture capital investor. With its network, experience in industrial production, and its technology expertise, it helps innovative company founders to get started on the market and to grow. TRUMPF Venture networks and find win-win ways of collaborating be it with TRUMPF as a customer, development partner, or in a close cooperation. TRUMPF Venture invests internationally with a focus on early stage financing, both as lead and co-investor ideally in investor consortiums. Out of a first fund of 40 million euros, it typically contributes 0.5-2M euros initially and view itself as a stable partner to successful portfolio companies throughout future investment rounds. TRUMPF Venture is looking for high-tech companies which are complementary to, or adjoin the core areas of TRUMPF either in terms of market or technology. TRUMPF Venture focuses on start-ups in the following technological areas: Photonics & laser technology; Manufacturing technology; Sensors & automation; Connectivity & compute; and, Industrial software systems.

TRUMPF Venture was founded in 2016 by David Levy (Founder & Investment Manager).

TRUMPF Venture is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The company also has offices abroad.
