Wakka

Wakka's goal is to help teachers teach coding more effectively to more students. Wakka's integrated development environment (IDE) is built for the web. Students can start coding immediately without needing to install anything. The IDE supports React, Vue, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Each student gets their own server, public domain, and workspace, where they code. Students can invite others by sharing a link. Multiple people can code and collaborate on Wakka. For a more interactive collaboration, students can text and video chat inside the IDE. Teachers can use Wakka's prepared web development curriculum, complete with exercises and auto-checking. They can customize the curriculum to fit their needs or create their own. Teachers can also get a complete view of their group's progress in a dashboard, view per-student analytics, easily check on students' progress by looking at their code, and easily collaborate with students using their workspaces.

Wakka was founded in 2019 by Ofer Bartal (Co-founder & CEO), Elina Bartal (Co-founder).
