Advisol is a provider of high-efficiency polarizing filters for liquid crystal display (LCD) projectors. The filters, which are based on Advisol's proprietary StereoPol technology, can achieve approximately 65% optical transmission, compared to about 40% for conventional polarizers. StereoPol filters allow the use of much smaller and less expensive projectors in passive 3D displays. Advisol also manufactures a full line of polarizing filters for all types of projectors used for 3D displays, as well as customized filter assemblies and mounts. In addition, the company has introduced StereoBright, a high-efficiency filter technology for LCD projectors.
