Biovac develops and produces vaccines and pharmaceuticals to prevent and treat animal diseases. The company also produces vitamin preparations, disinfectants, and pest-control products. Biovac invests heavily in research and development, and owns its own production laboratories, including a BSL3 laboratory and a Beta Lactam production alignment. Its production units are authorized and supervised by the Israeli Ministry of Health and Ministry of Agriculture.
