Bonfix is developing a minimally invasive device for the correction of hallux valgus, or bunions. Current treatment for hallux valgus involves osteotomies and manipulation of bone fragments. Bonfix aims to replace this operation with a minimally invasive procedure that involves ambulatory surgery and minimal functional limitations.
