Carmel Olefins manufactures petrochemical products that are used as raw materials for the plastics industry, including standard and special grades of polypropylene (PP) and a broad range of low-density polyethylene.
The company exports to countries worldwide. Its flagship product, Ipethene, is used for film or pipe extrusion, blow molding, injection molding, and compounding of films for agriculture and packaging applications.
Another of Carmel's key products is Capilene, which is used for a range of PP homopolymers and impact and random copolymers, manufactured to various standards and grades. Capilene is used for garden furniture, cabinets, lockers, storage systems, toys, and transparent films. Capilene PP products are environmentally friendly, nontoxic, and recyclable.
Carmel Olefins was founded through a merger of existing businesses and is now a private company owned by Oil Refineries Ltd.
