CogniGuard is developing a medical device for treating the Alzheimer's-ill brain, at the disease's onset. It works with patients who have Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), to halt patient decline into a more severe form of Alzheimer's disease. CogniGuard's is a non-invasive neuro-stimulation device that is activated automatically and selectively during certain sleep stages, CogniGuard uses a headphone like device that can be applied during sleep, needs no assistant or special facility.
