The implants were designed to comply with the controlled fracture impaction principles (STABLE DYNAMIC). Each of the stages in the surgical procedure for pertrochanteric, subtrochanteric and base of neck fractures was addressed, aiming for reducing operative trauma and enhance surgical accuracy. The HipUp - used to reduce posterior sagging in hip fractures and in fractures of the upper third of the femur, and to maintain the reduction during the surgical procedure. The Hip Up is placed beneath the patient's hip or femur. Reduction is carried out gradually and very precisely.
