Microsoft’s $1 billion investment initiative to accelerate technology development and deployment of new climate innovations through equity and debt capital. Microsoft is investing significantly in sustainability both to reduce the impact of their own operations and to help the world to overcome the biggest sustainability challenges—working at the intersection of technology and the natural and social sciences. This is Microsoft's first representative office of the fund outside the US. Climate start-ups are able to register and be examined by the representative office in Israel as candidates for investment.
