About
Nano Vision Tech is developing a breakthrough night-vision system that fuses Near-Infrared (NIR) and Thermal Imaging into one high-resolution sensor. Based on Nano-Rectenna technology, the system does not require cryogenic cooling, making it lighter, more efficient, and easier to integrate into both new and existing platforms.
Technology Overview — Nano-Rectenna
The platform leverages nanoscale antennas (nano-antennas) combined with ultra-miniature rectifiers (nano-diodes) to convert electromagnetic waves at tens to hundreds of terahertz into electrical current.
Unlike conventional silicon photovoltaic sensors that rely on the particle behaviour of light, Nano-Rectenna exploits its wave nature—enabling efficient capture of electromagnetic radiation (including NIR and thermal) and its direct conversion to electricity.
System highlights:
• High-resolution CMOS-level imaging (multi-megapixel and beyond).
• No cooling required, reducing cost, size, power, and integration complexity.
• Environment-friendly materials and sustainable manufacturing processes.
Key Advantages
1. Ultra-high resolution comparable to modern multi-megapixel cameras.
2. No cryogenic cooling, simplifying operation and lowering system cost.
3. Lower manufacturing cost via simpler structures and readily available, non-toxic materials.
4. Wide application range—from defense and public safety to automotive, medical, industrial, and energy.
