NegevSol is engaged in the development of a large autonomous machine specifically designed for combating wildfires, named the ABIR 18-1000. This machine has water tank capacity of 18,000 liters (4,755 US gallons), and it is powered by twin diesel engines, each offering 500 horsepower, combining to a total of 1,000 horsepower. The ABIR 18-1000 features a unique 8x8 drive and steer system, and it operates in different modes: a fuel-efficient Cruise Mode using one engine for extended missions, and a Mission Mode utilizing both engines. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic transmission and a rugged, comfortable three-seat cab with a flat floor and HVAC, designed for a smooth ride.
