Omnistream uses standard smartphones to broadcast real-time, high-quality video, audio, and data from anywhere. By aggregating cellular uplink channels from several smartphones, Omnistream offers media enterprises reliable and secure transmission. Video is generated from an external/smartphone camera, and the stream is divided into frames, which are sent to nearby smartphones, each uploading its part to the Omnistream cloud server. The server unifies the different packets together to the original stream and sends it to different recipients simultaneously. Overall delay is around one second regardless of the resolution.
