RadarV is developing technology to enable multiple types of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to navigate safely in the same airspace. The company's flagship product is a radar-based detect-and-avoid (DAA) system that provides drones with fully automated DAA capability and enables safe operation beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS). The RadarV DAA system uses a small, lightweight radar sensor that is mounted on the drone. The radar sensor scans the airspace around the drone and detects other aircraft. If the radar sensor detects another aircraft, the DAA system will automatically take evasive action to avoid a collision.
