Revamp medical was founded with the goal of resolving one of the most urgent unmet needs in Acute Heart Failure patients. The company's product, the DORAYA catheter, deploys temporarily and regulates vascular hemodynamics in acute heart failure patients, including those who have developed diuretic resistance.
The Doraya catheter is designed to improve the efficacy of diuretic therapy in patients with acute heart failure (AHF). A manageable flow-reducing Central Venus Catheter, Doraya is deployed in the infrarenal IVC for up to 12 hours, helping cardiologists to temporarily manage venous hemodynamics, central venous pressure, renal afterload, and venous returns.
In July 2020, the company's DORAYA acute heart failure catheter received FDA breakthrough device designation.
