SMUV is an AI-based sales system that automates quoting and deal closure in traditional service industries where pricing requires both a video and a phone call. The system includes a voice-based AI agent that speaks with the customer, watches a video recorded or streamed during the call, analyzes the content in real time, and generates a price quote — all during the conversation.
To understand the market, SMUV’s founders worked hands-on in the U.S. moving industry. They joined sales and operations teams, handled support, and worked on trucks to identify real-world challenges. These insights shaped the system’s design based on actual field needs.
Today, SMUV offers a scanning tool that lets customers submit home videos. The system uses these videos to generate quotes, with human oversight. This tool is used by paying customers. The fully autonomous voice-based AI system is under development. All current customers have requested to upgrade to the full system when it’s ready.
The product is designed to run without human sales reps. It understands margins, interprets video input, negotiates in real time, and sends final quotes without manual involvement. The goal is to replace the entire sales process with one AI conversation.
SMUV has 10 active customers and 20 signed LOIs for its full $5,000/month system. The company is in the customer development stage and is raising funds to complete and scale the full product.
The founders’ Israeli background provides a cultural advantage. Many U.S. moving company owners are Israeli, which creates trust and opens doors for rapid adoption.
While the first use case is moving, the system is relevant to other verticals where quoting starts with a video and ends with a call — including Storage, Apartment deep Cleaning, Home Insurance, Home Renovation, International Moving, Junk Removal, HVAC Installation and more.
