STMicroelectronics NV designs, develops, manufactures and markets products, which offers discrete and standard commodity components, application-specific integrated circuits, full custom devices and semi-custom devices for analog, digital and mixed-signal applications. ST arrived to Israel in 2000 with the acquisition of WaferScale Inc, which had a memory design center in the city of Natanya. In 2012, ST acquired the IP from the Israeli company Btendo, a projection technology innovator. Today, the Israeli ST branch has sales and marketing activities and continues developing the ST products.
