About
TrailAccess is developing the Hard Terrain Manual Vehicle (HTMV), an innovative, patent-pending multipurpose vehicle designed to enable any person with limited mobility to go out and hike on almost any trail. The HTMV can be also used for SAR missions and casualty evacuations, and as a field ambulance.
TrailAccess targets three primary barriers to outdoor recreation faced by people with physical disabilities: a lack of technical assistive devices designed for unaccessible terrain; pervasive myths of incapability based on years of misinformation; and an absence of relevant cumulative knowledge.
