Uni-Scope Optical Systems (UOS) develops and produces glass and acrylic periscopes, light handheld periscopes, laminated armored glass, vision blocks, riflescopes, binoculars, long-range observation systems, torch lights, tripods, and optical components. The companys acrylic periscopes are designed and produced using proprietary technologies to improve ultraviolet resistance, temperature stability, and laser protection. Other products include periscopes and vision blocks for armored vehicles and handheld periscopes for infantry and special forces units. Uni-Scope Optical Systems is part of the SK Industrial Group, which comprises the Israeli Shipyards, Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), Meprolight, and Incomac Industries.
