Vessi Medical is developing a new approach in the treatment of urological tissue. The company treats superficial urological tissue using surface cryotherapy, utilizing extreme cold to freeze and destroy abnormal tissue. The Vessi Medical system consists of a stand-alone console and a disposable catheter which is inserted into the bladder in a manner similar to existing intravesical techniques. Vessi's minimally invasive unique cryotherapy solution provides a therapeutic alternative to surgery while reducing the cost and complications associated with current treatments. First in human study (FIH) clinical trial was finalized (2023) , with very promising results.
