Israel-based medical technology company 3NT Medical Ltd. has closed a major portion of its $15 million target funding round, with Tokyo-headquartered Hoya Corporation leading the round. 3NT Medical will use the funding to develop and commercialize its products. Hoya Corporation, a manufacturer and supplier of ocular products and devices, reported revenues of $4.28 billion and a net income of $776 million for the fiscal year 2017. This is the corporations first venture investment in an Israeli company.
