The EFI - Entrepreneurship Forum Israel (formerly known as MIT Enterprise Forum - the Israeli chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum), is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the growth and success of high-tech entrepreneurial ventures by connecting ideas, technology, and people. The EFI - Entrepreneurship Forum Israel was here at the very start of the tech entrepreneurship scene, which soon became the Startup Nation that it is today. The community organizes conferences, workshops, consultations, entrepreneurship programs, and other activities where entrepreneurs, industry experts, investors, and technologists exchange insights about how to effectively grow high-tech ventures while adapting to dynamic market risks and overcoming challenges. The Forum provides an excellent opportunity for networking and catching up on the latest technologies, emerging industries, and business issues. EFI is also involved in international activities, including high-value acceleration programs.

The US Department of Defense, in collaboration with the MIT Forum for Entrepreneurship, has announced the third Combating Terrorism Technology Startup Challenge (CTTSC3). The competition is open to startups, entrepreneurs, and research teams from around the world in two tracks, with the winners of each receiving $100,000. The first track is open to those working in various fields such as tracking technologies, social media analytics, video and image decoding, cybersecurity, drones, robotics, personal security, information gathering, and detection of explosives, water pollution and hidden threats. The second track is for those developing navigation technologies in urban environments without GPS.

TRI/O-TECH, a hi-tech entrepreneurship center, is set to open in the next month. It will include a school for entrepreneurship and an accelerator. The aim is to develop the managerial and entrepreneurial skills of tech entrepreneurs. The center is operated in collaboration with the MIT Forum for Entrepreneurship and Tsofen organization. It was established with the support of the US State Departments Middle East Partnership Initiative and an investment of around 5 million shekels. The center will provide support, mentoring, and networking opportunities for tech startups, including access to national companies, relevant government representatives, angel investors, and venture capital firms.
