The digital twin is a precise visual copy of the malls interior, created by scanning and photographing the building. This technology will be available through the companys app, enhancing the shopping experience by providing AR navigation from the parking lot to specific stores, virtual deals scattered throughout the mall, and virtual art exhibits. The technology is being piloted in the Tel Aviv mall before being implemented in other Azrieli malls across the country.

Israeli real estate company Azrieli Group has partnered with startup Resonai to develop a Digital Twin for Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv. The technology creates a precise visual copy of the buildings interior, enhancing the consumer experience with layers of information, applications, and games in augmented reality. The technology is being launched as a pilot in Azrieli Mall, and will later be implemented in all the groups malls across the country. The new technology will allow mall visitors to navigate directly from the parking lot to the desired stores quickly and easily using the Azrieli app and the camera on their smartphone.

Resonai Raises $20M in Series A Extension
Resonai, a Tel Aviv-based provider of digital solutions to transform physical spaces into digitally empowered environments, has raised $20M in a Series A extension round. The round was led by Meitav-Dash, Blue Square Israel, and Irani Ventures. The funds will be used to finance the continued development and expansion of the proprietary Vera platform, support sales and marketing programs, and continue growth throughout the U.S., Asia, and Europe. Resonai has also formed partnerships with companies including Kajima Construction, Takenaka Construction, and GOLDBECK Construction.

The exhibit, called Animaker, allows visitors to create animals out of LEGO/Duplo bricks, which are then analyzed by the robots using 3D-scanning technology and an AI-powered search engine. The animals then come to life in a virtual ancient temple.
