Actasys Inc. focuses on the development and commercialization of a groundbreaking technology coming from the aerospace industry to improve the aerodynamic performance of ground vehicles. The Actasys module is made up of several different components. The movement occurs through piezo disks that expand or contract to move air through the objects orifice. The modules cover and structural components are present for protection and functional needs. Each unit has a power input, which moderates positive and negative voltage signals to cause the expansions and contractions. Actasys is focusing on a retrofit technology for the Class 8 trucks that will revolutionize the industry fuel efficiency standards. Actasys is part of the Drive TLV Fast Lane program, the Tel Aviv Accelerator. Currently, the company is located in the USA, with plans to open a Tel Aviv branch.
