Partner Communications has deployed Oscilloquartz timing technology to support 5G rollout in Israel. The technology provides high levels of accuracy and availability for next-generation mobile services. The solution includes a fully redundant, scalable, and modular grandmaster clock, as well as GNSS assurance software and continuous probing and assurance capabilities. The technology is remotely controlled by ADVAs Ensemble Controller. Partner Communications can now deliver a reliable mobile 5G experience to its customers, even during GNSS outages.

Germany's Adva Optical acquires Biran High Tech Advisors
Adva Optical Networking has acquired LTE technologies developer Biran High Tech Advisors for a few million dollars in shares. The founder and CEO of Biran High Tech Advisors, Gil Biran, will head Adva Opticals Israeli operations and seek additional investment opportunities in Israel. Adva Optical, which had €330 million in sales in 2012, is interested in Birans expertise in mobile backhaul solutions and network congestion solutions. The company also plans to double Biran High Tech Advisors staff of 40 employees over the next two years.
